Time travel, heroes who can speak Italian, and a delicious romance wrapped up in a fantastical mystery--what's not to love? My only quibble--neither book is completely a stand alone story. I have never been a big fan of the current trend in trilogies (or series) to have cliffhanger endings. Nothing is more irritating than to discover that the book you are reading doesn't end at, well... the end. Lisa Mangum writes such an engaging story, though, that I have no doubt that it will be worth the wait when the third book finally does come out. 0 comments |
